There’s nothing quite like that moment of coming face to face with these intelligent creatures. It’s not unusual for a dolphin to approach the boat, as they are curious about us like we are of them.

Nature’s “Sweet Spot”
Why a Dolphin Tour in Hilton Head
Hilton Head is truly a “sweet spot” for dolphins, standing out amongst the entire globe. We have the perfect combination of factors in our natural environment.
The saltmarsh estuary ecosystem is packed with life, which means plentiful food for the dolphins on a year-round basis. Likewise, temperate waters keep the dolphins comfortable whether it’s July or January; it’s a perfect range for them.
Guarded by the 2nd largest barrier island on the eastern seaboard, Hilton Head's intricate backcountry waterways provide shelter and protection, both from weather extremes and predators (sharks!), giving dolphins a perfect habitat for spawning and raising their young.
Just as Hilton Head provides the ideal recipe for dolphins, we believe it also offers a uniquely comfortable place for humans! It’s the ideal family vacation spot and truly a wonderful place to live. Come let us share it with you!

Will we see dolphins?
Yes. In the rare event that we do not see dolphins, you will receive an option for an additional trip. It’s extremely unlikely that we don’t see dolphins on our Hilton Head Dolphin Tour.
Can we touch/pet/feed/swim with the dolphins?
No. Dolphins are protected under federal law, which limits the ways we can interact with them in their natural environment. We can observe dolphins but not physically engage with them.
Are you serious, Clark?
Yes, we're serious.
